Inspired by the medallion motifs found on Quaker sampler designs at Ackworth School. This pincushion was designed by Jane Greenoff for the Cross Stitch Guild. It is a circular design and has depth - we use a linen band to go around the circumference, giving the two fabric pieces a 1.8cm depth when stitched and completed.
The joy of single colour stitching means less fastening off and refastening, you just keep stitching until you get to the end of the thread.
Kit includes linen fabric, linen band for the circumference, wrapped needle, thread in a swatch, chart and instructions.
Design size: 12.5 cm (5 inches) diameter.
When made up the pincushion has a depth of 1.8cm.
