We are delighted that the Governors of Ackworth School have allowed the CSG to use their sampler collection as source material for our counted embroidery kits. Hopefully this will be the first of many. The medallion designs common to Quaker Schools are so distinctive and antique Quaker samplers are very much sought after, being very rare and very costly.
This design is worked on either 28-count Cashel linen or 14-count Aida and is supplied with the chart, stranded cottons (floss) and a gold plated needle.
The design when stitched measures 18 x 11.5inches
