Whispers is the first in a series of slightly fiendish counted projects intended for the more experienced stitcher. The design is worked in a variety of counted stitches and has been stitched as a class project in 2015. The stitching is worked in stranded cottons (floss) and hand painted 12-ply silk thread. The stitches include cross stitch, queen stitch, satin stitch, backstitch, Algerian eye, colonial knots, buttonhole bars, long legged cross stitch and hemstitch.
The pack includes the chart, 28-count Cashel antique coloured linen, fully illustrated instructions, pre-sorted stranded cottons (floss) hand painted silk threads and two gold plated needles.
