This is an ideal place to start if you are just discovering cross stitch.  These two little posies are inspired by my collection of hand-painted Berlin patterns which date back to the early 1800s. Beautiful hand-painted woolwork charts first came into Britain in about 1810, with a range of Berlin woollen threads, known as such because they were produced in Berlin, an important centre for dyeing in the early 19th century. These charts are now very collectable and sought after by dealers and embroiderers. These two designs are stitched in pure cross stitch on Aida fabric - the perfect fabric for the novice. The designs are stitched in pure cross stitch with no fractional stitches - You can choose your favourite from the dropdown menu.

The pack includes a chart, 14-count aida fabric, a wrapped needle, threads and clear instructions.

Size: 2 x 2 ins
