This very special project was designed originally for a trip to the Hardanger area of Norway. and is now available as a kit. The handmade covered box is made from cardboard, padded with wadding and covered in silk fabric and then decorated with linen band on all four sides. The box has an opening on one side, with a linen band around the inside to hold the internal projects. The box includes a tool case, folded hussif, biscornu, needlefold, scissor case and watbo.
This lovely kit includes the Cashel 28-count linen in antique white, linen bands, pre-sorted threads, perle cottons, gold plated needles, silk fabric, chatelaine scissors, hand dyed felt, shell buttons and silk ribbons.
The assorted tools and other stitchy things are not included but can be ordered from this site
