This exquisite little band sampler began life as a class project and has since become a personal favourite. The design is stitched on 28-count Cashel linen and worked in stranded cottons (floss) and Perle threads. The design includes counted cross stitch, a variety of hemstitches, Hardanger embroidery and a number of additional counted stitches. This project is not suitable for the complete beginner - you should have worked on evenweave fabric and from a chart before.
The completed band measures 3 x 13 inches excluding the folded hem which is optional. The instructions in the pack give close up pictures and all the stitch diagrams you should need.
The project pack includes Cashel linen, pre-sorted threads, gold metallic, vintage beads, gold plated needles, charts and fully illustrated instructions.
