There is apparently no such word as Embroideress! Well, that was until I designed and stitched this divine sampler! Sometimes when I am designing a new project the whole exercise goes like clockwork and I just know what is going to happen next. This was one of those designs.
The design is counted from a chart but I have stolen a few stitches from the surface embroiderers and have adapted them so that all can be counted on to the fabric. Still one of our best-sellers - a joy to stitch. My version has a hand stitched folded hem but the project could be mounted and framed if preferred.
The pack includes washed, unbleached Cashel 28-count linen, pre-sorted stranded cottons (floss), hand painted silk threads, silk ribbons, beads, chart and fully illustrated instructions
