I was inspired to design this project after our many visits to Westonbirt Arboretum here in Gloucestershire. As we have been dog owners for thel ast twintry years we always visited the Silverwood - the only part of the Aboretum that allows dogs.You can see from the photographs in this section that the colours on this design really glow - a beautiful project.I have used lots of Stef francis hand dyed 12-ply silk as well as stranded cottons (floss)in this project and I am very pleased with the result. ! should mention here that had you been a CSG Member, you would have had the chart for this in your Itch to Stitch magazine as it began life as a five-part project for Members.
