Charlie's Secret Garden

This is a beautiful band sampler with an enormous variety of stitches and techniques. There is a padded heart roughly in the middle of the sampler which hides my secret. Early in 2007, we lost our much loved dog, Charlie our beloved bearded Collie.  I have used some of his blonde hair to pad the heart and remind me of the fun he had in his Secret Garden. This is a very colourful but challenging piece of stitching and I hope you enjoy stitching this as much as I did.
The kit includes a heart shaped button, silk ribbon, space dyed 12-ply silk, beads, tiny bee charms, washed unbleached 28-count Cashel linen, gold plated needles, pre-sorted threads, charts and fully illustrated instructions
