We use Zweigart linen and Aida fabric for our kit production and we also supply these fabrics by post. The reason for supplying Zweigart fabric is that it is simply the best!
All the linens on this web site (unless stated) are evenweaves - this means that if you counted the threads across and down the fabric, the thread count would be the same. This is why your cross stitches are square!
We supply our materials in fat quarters, long quarters, half metres or metres. A fat quarter is 50cm one way and half the width of the roll the other way. This means that when supplying linen, the fat quarter is almost always 50 x 70cm. A long Quarter is 25cm x full width of the fabric (140cm in this case), half metre is 50cm x full width of the fabric 140cm, a full metre is 100cm x full width of the fabric 140cm
Belfast linen is one of most popular fabrics particularly for the more experienced sampler makers. With the cross stitches worked over two fabric threads, it equates to a 16-count fabric and has a beautiful even appearance. You can choose the colour you require from the drop down menus
Colours render differently on different devices and the drop down list sorts itself differently to the picture. For a guide to which colour is which, Top-Bottom we have... Washed Unbleached, Antique White, Faux Tea dyed, Unbleached.
Prices: Fat Quarter £14, Long Quarter: £14, Half Metre £27, Full Metre £52
