For our Northern event we are at the Village Hotel in Warrington. Warrington is the home of the Cross Stitch Guild HQ and is well connected by road (M6, M56, M62) and train. The two train stations in the centre of Warrington, Warrington Bank Quay serves the North-South mainline, and Warrington Central the East-West routes. Both are a very short taxi journey from the hotel.
The Village Hotel is in near the centre of Warrington and has a nice gym and pool along with bar, restuarant and coffee. It's a short stroll from Warrington town centre if you were keen to explore. It also boasts free parking for our attendees at the weekend.
Our weekends are all hotel based and will run from 7pm Friday evening to 5pm on the Sunday with the option to stay at the hotel until Monday morning. The cost of the weekend includes two nights at the hotel, 2 drinks receptions, 2 nights bed & breakfast, 2 lunches, and 2 evening meals with wine, materials and tuition.
The content of the weekend is designed to suit all skill levels and we have an enormous variety of taste and expertise at every weekend. Remember to bring the correct glasses and your favourite stitching bits and pieces - we will look after the rest!
