This is something very special and a personal dream come true. I had not been able to persuade a publisher to help me create a Little Linen Book and had more or less given up.
Last year I met Kate Bowles and it was like a meeting of minds and, as a result, she has created my very special Little Linen Book.
If you click on the picture to the left you can see details of the pages and you will be able to see just how special these books are.
Each one is different and includes recycled paper, squared paper, envelopes for treasures and also ten pretty little charts with a key. The end papers are created from one of my charts.
This exquisite project was designed and stitched by Sue Hawkins, our first Technical Director. The book is made up of a linen cover with a folded hem, which is fairly plain so you can decorate it at will. There are a further six pages using different techniques including pulled and drawn thread, Hardanger, hemstitch, counted thread stitches and pure cross stitch.

This is our completed Flower Sampler Book which was originally designed as a part work for CSG Members and it is now available as a complete kit.
This exquisite heirloom project is a joy to stitch and will be something you want to show friends and family.
The hand-stitched cover has a folded hem and a tiny gold-plated bee charm.
The stitched pages attached to the inside of the cover include cross stitch, a mini band sampler, Assisi embroidery, blackwork, hemstitch, pattern darning, Hardanger and pulled thread embroidery
