Inspired by an antique pincushion seen at an antique fair, this sweet little pincushion may be worked on unbleached linen or on linen Aida fabric. The kit is complete with the exception of the stuffing. It is completed by hand with the addition of a twisted cord. The design is different on the back of the pincushion with a useful backstitch alphabet and a pretty little strawberry border.
The design includes counted cross stitch,satin stitch, French knots, queen stitch and bullion knots.The pack includes unbleached Cashel 28-count linen or 14-count linen Aida, stranded cottons, wrapped needle, cotton card, chart and illustrated instructions.
