Heather Hemstitch and Hardanger Band

This pretty little band sampler may be stitched as a sampler as shown in the picture or converted in to a folded needlekeeper (click on the picture to the left) I have completed the sampler with a folded hem and mounted on to a piece of green silk. It could, of course, be mounted and framed without the folded hem. This pattern is also available as a downloadable chart from Stitch from your Stash

If you want to turn the band in to the needlekeeper the instructions are the same except that it is lined in hand dyed felt with a ribbon closure. The pack contains tea dyed Cashel 28-count linen, presorted stranded cotton, hand dyed threads, hand dyed felt, gold plated needle, satin ribbon, chart and fully illustrated instructions.
