Somersault hemstitch
Follow the instructions for tied hemstitch, but take the needle over four threads. Reverse the needle, place it under two threads then over two, then twist the needle the other way. This will twist the fabric threads automatically. Pinch your fingers over the threads, and gently pull the needle through, keeping the thread horizontal and taut. Repeat down the row, fastening off into the fabric edge.
