The Petite Fleur Purse is worked in stranded cottons,seed beads and has a folded hem with ribbon tie. The tie is weighted with a pin keeper including a strong magnet. The Beaded Watbo is worked on linen and is completed with a ribbon and covered brass rings.

Inspired by my fifth visit to Giverney, France and to Claude Monet's garden, this project was first completed by many of our guests on our Northern France Tour in April 2013. The project includes a project purse including the bridge over a Hardanger lily pond with a gold plated charm, a needle book and a Watbo scissor keeper. As a result of the response to the scissors I used on my worked example, I have included them in the pack!

This special project was inspired by, and charted from, the sampler created by Catherine Archer whilst a pupil at the Muller Orphanage in Bristol, England, during the 1800s. The complete chart for this sampler is available in Charted Antique Samplers. There are four pieces to complete the set which are all stitched on unbleached 28-count Cashel linen. The kits include the fabric and the antique style red checked ribbon as well as fully illustrated instructions.
