Well, that was until I designed and stitched this divine sampler!The design is counted from a chart but I have stolen a few stitches from the surface embroiderers. The kit is supplied on washed unbleached linen and includes pre-sorted stranded cottons (floss) and hand painted silk threads.

This is a beautiful band sampler with an enormous variety of stitches and techniques. There is a padded heart roughly in the middle of the sampler which hides my secret. Early in 2007, we lost our much loved dog, Charlie and so I have used some of his blonde hair to pad the heart and remind me of the fun he had in his Secret Garden. The kit is available on washed unbleached linen only. The kit includes a heart shaped button, silk ribbon, Caron Silk Waterlilies, beads and charms. Pre-sorted threads.
