It all started when I was visiting the Craft Fair in Cirencester and I saw some beautiful things turned in oak. After a bit of a chat, I realised that I had found a real rarity - a lady who works in wood and who loved to stitch. Jo Freeman (with help from her long suffering husband, Phil) makes our wooden products and has made these lovely items for the CSG. She uses wood from managed sources and is a perfectionist. Our wooden stitcher's gifts are hand turned for us by Jo. She works in many types of wood, but everything she makes for us is from Oak with the exception of her wooden thread cards.
