Heavens! What was I explaining?
All our products are made and packed here in the Studio here in Fairford, England and use Zweigart fabrics and best quality stranded cotton (floss) from Madeira. We take great care over this process and hope that you will be pleased with the end result. If there is a problem, please get in touch and let us put it right. I have indicated where the kits have pre-sorted threads and those packed in hanks will be simple to identify and to separate.
We have included a little thumbnail picture with each product description - just click on the middle of the picture to see the complete image.
When ordering, if you want more than one of something you can click once and then alter the quantity in the checkout section - particularly useful when ordering loads of threads etc.
We offer all CSG Members 10% discount on their shopping except where a product is a Members Only item. We calculate the discount at this end so do not worry if it does not show on the automated reply you receive. You can order from the shop without logging in to the Members' Studio - just make sure your Membership Number is on the order form and we will do the rest.
Remember you need your Membership Number to get your discount. If in doubt, email me
Free and Discounted Postage & Delivery
We do make every effort to turn orders around as quickly as we can and try to keep adequate stock levels to make this possible, but sometimes we are so busy it takes a little longer. Feel free to email and groan if you have been waiting longer than you think you should! We use First Class post where possible and Air Mail for all our overseas packages.
Within the UK, we charge £3.75 postage and packing on all orders unless you are a CSG Member in which case the postage is free to a UK address. If you are ordering from a non-UK address, your postage will be calculated at cost and then discounted by £3.75 if you are a CSG member. This should all be clear at the checkout!
Please be aware that the currency used on this website is UK Pounds.
We are very happy to accept orders from non-UK stitchers, but please pay with your credit card as this enables us to receive UK Pounds and you to pay in your home currency (sorry, no Amex or Diners Card). We add the actual cost of postage to your credit card payment (less discount if you are a Member)
There may be certain heavy items in the shop which attract special terms for postage. Get in touch by email if you need more information.
Ordering online and security
I am aware that some of you are quite nervous of the internet and ordering online but please be reassured.
The site shop has a very safe form of encryption which makes it impossible for anyone to access your details on my computer.
It is, in fact, more safe than sending your credit card details through the post, something we all do without thinking about it! We do not keep your financial details on the computer- once the goods are despatched the files are deleted. I may have mentioned BC (Before CrossStitch) that my husband, Bill worked for Lloyds Bank for 23 years and he is pathologically careful about matters financial!
